Concerning the Obligation to attend Mass on both the 4th Sunday of Advent & Christmas. This year, Christmas falls on a Monday. That means that the 4th Sunday of Advent and Christmas Eve will coincide on Sunday, December 24 2023. While the date may coincide, our obligation to attend Mass remains two-fold: one for the 4th Sunday of Advent, and another for Christmas.

ARE YOU A REGISTERED PARISHIONER? Many times people have attended Mass regularly, and for many don’t realize they are NOT registered. To sponsor someone for Baptism or Confirmation, you are required to have a Certificate of Eligibility from your Church. Also, to baptize your child or enter them into the Religious Education Program, you must be a registered parishioner. Please register by calling the parish office at 628-2219 or see Deacon Jim.

Lessons are available for 1st through 8th grade students with additional resources for those who want to learn more about a certain subject. TEEN BIBLE STUDY, MONDAYS, 7 P.M. Every Monday a weekly high school teen Bible study will be hosted via Zoom. The Bible Study will discuss the coming Sunday’s Gospel readings and will be led by a local high school student. Learn more and register at diokzoo.org/diocesanofferings.

$40 for one student
$70 for two students
$100 for three students

Classes begin in September. Parents can find registration forms on the website at www.stjudeparishgobles.com or on the table upon entering the Church. Please turn your registration forms into Jennifer as soon as possible so classes can be set up. If you have a first-time student, make sure you contact Jennifer Price and let her know so she can order the needed supplies.
